Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN.
• Support classroom activities and help create an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Assist with personal care and mobility needs, if required.
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all students.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
