SEMH Teaching Assisstant

CER Education are working with a Multi Academy Trust that specialises in supporting children with SEMH/SEND.

The Role:

• £85.00 – £100.00 a day (depending on previous experience).
• Immediate start.
• Full time and part time positions available.
• KS1 and KS2.

• Halifax
• Accessible from motorways / public transport
• Supportive staff, great working environment and department

Requirements

• Experience when working with children, with SEND or mainstream.
• A valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain this.
• An understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and the barriers to learning.
• Additional CPD qualifications, such as: Team-Teach and Moving & Handling would be highly beneficial but not essential as CPD is offered.
• Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
