IT Support Officer | Temporary to Permanent Role | £15.50 to £16.50 per hour

One of CER’s partner colleges in Romford are looking for a IT Support Officer who will be working at their Rush Green campus. Initially this role is to cover a vacant position for up to 3 months with the possibility of going permanent.

Duties include:

• To provide 2nd Line IT Support of Desktop hardware estate and related software across the College and remote sites
• To Provide support with AV Media / Music systems
• To assist management to configure and manage the network
• To help when needed to support in other areas of the College IT infrastructure as directed.

To apply, you should have the following Essential skills and abilities:

• 2 years minimum in IT support
• Understanding of Active directory making, users, renaming/moving machines
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Must have driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Experience of working in an educational establishment (desirable)

Working hours per week:

• 08:30 -17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 – 15:30 on Friday each week.
