About the Role

As a Secondary School Teacher, you will:

• Teach KS3 and KS4 PE, delivering engaging and inclusive practical and theory lessons
• Plan and deliver high‑quality sessions aligned with the national curriculum
• Monitor student progress and provide supportive, constructive feedback
• Contribute to curriculum development and department resources
• Create a positive and energetic learning environment that promotes participation, teamwork, and physical wellbeing
• Lead or support extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and events

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge and up-to-date understanding of PE curriculum standards
• Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
• Ability to drive is preferred; otherwise, reliable public transport links are essential
