Full-Time Science Teacher (Supply)

Location: Large Secondary School, Doncaster
Position: Full-Time, Supply Teacher

We are currently looking for a passionate and committed Science Teacher to join a large secondary school in Doncaster on a full-time supply basis. This role offers the chance to inspire young minds and contribute to a thriving school community.

Role Overview:

• Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring lessons are engaging, informative, and tailored to meet the needs of all students.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that cover the national curriculum and foster a deep understanding of scientific principles.
• Track and assess student progress, providing clear feedback and guidance to help them achieve their potential.
• Manage the classroom effectively, creating a positive and safe learning environment that encourages student participation.
• Collaborate with other staff members to support the school’s ethos and contribute to departmental activities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science at the secondary level, with a solid understanding of the subject matter.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a full teaching timetable on a supply basis.
• A commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of all students, ensuring that school policies are followed.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards working in different classroom environments.
