Location: Sheffield Secondary School
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: £153.59 – £233.62 per day

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated (RE) Religious Education Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Sheffield on a full-time, long-term basis through our education agency. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to make a positive impact on students’ learning and development in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging RE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment, promoting students’ understanding of world religions, ethics, and moral philosophy
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Support students in preparing for RE-related examinations and coursework

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
  • Experience teaching RE at secondary school level
  • Strong knowledge of the RE curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
  • A passion for education and a commitment to student success
