The Opportunity

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teacher with QTS who can teach both Science and Maths to join a dedicated and forward‑thinking team. This role is well suited to a teacher who is passionate about engaging learners in science and committed to raising attainment through creative and inclusive practice.

You will have the opportunity to contribute positively to curriculum development and be part of a supportive school community focused on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality Science lessons across relevant Key Stages
  • Plan engaging and differentiated lessons that meet diverse learner needs
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform teaching
  • Create a calm, positive and well‑managed classroom environment
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school development
  • Uphold the school’s values and behaviour expectations consistently

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge in Science
  • A passion for engaging and motivating young people
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A reflective, adaptable and resilient approach to teaching
  • Commitment to professional development and teamwork
