CER Education are looking to recruit a passionate and adaptable Key Stage 1 Supply Teacher to join our supportive and well‑established team. We work closely with a range of primary schools across North Sheffield, offering flexible opportunities ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs eager to build confidence in KS1 settings.

✨ The Role

As a KS1 Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and age‑appropriate lessons for Year 1 and Year 2 pupils
• Create a nurturing, supportive classroom atmosphere
• Adapt quickly to new school environments and follow existing plans
• Support early learning in phonics, early literacy, and numeracy
• Maintain positive behaviour and promote a love of learning

We offer a variety of placements – from one‑day cover to ongoing roles – so you can work in the way that suits you best.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching within KS1 (including teaching placements)
• Strong understanding of early learning and child development
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A flexible, enthusiastic approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
