Key Stage 1 Teacher – Bootle

Are you a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher looking to inspire young learners? We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bootle. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on early childhood education, starting immediately.

Position: Key Stage 1 Teacher

Location: Bootle

Salary: £100 – £160 per day (dependent on experience) & paid to scale post AWR

About the Role:

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of children in Year 1 and Year 2. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons that help children develop essential literacy, numeracy, and social skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative and inspiring lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 national curriculum.

Support the development of phonics, reading, writing, and maths skills in young learners.

Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.

Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to provide individualised attention to students.

Engage with parents and guardians to ensure children are supported both at school and at home.

Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with specialism in early years/Key Stage 1.

Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students (Newly Qualified Teachers welcome to apply).

Passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of early childhood development.

Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning environment.

An enhanced DBS check and understanding of safeguarding policies.
