Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the curriculum and students’ needs.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
- Develop individual learning plans for students, ensuring that all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities and contribute to school events and initiatives.
- Maintain a strong focus on student welfare, ensuring their emotional and academic development.
- Engage with parents and carers to keep them informed about their child’s progress and address any concerns.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the school’s ethos and culture.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the curriculum, with the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Experience teaching in a primary or secondary school setting (depending on role).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on student learning.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching in diverse classroom settings.
