Salary: MPS/UPS (Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale), depending on experience and role
Contract Type: Full-time, Part-time
Start Date: September 2024

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Primary Teacher to join our team at CER and contribute towards students’ success across Barnsley Primary schools.

Primary Teacher Responsibilities:

• Engage & Inspire: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
• Assess & Monitor: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets for improvement.
• Collaborate & Support: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
• Manage & Lead: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, managing behaviour effectively and fostering a love of learning.
• Innovate & Develop: Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
