CER is looking for a Sports Coach to work as a Classroom Support Assistant in a Primary school in Durham.

A successful candidate will have worked as a teaching assistant in a school before, or have relevant experience working with children or sports coaching, which they can transfer over to an education setting.

The school, based in Durham is 2 form entry along with a seperate SEND hub. The role will be to work with Primary aged children, working across the school.

The school are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and resourceful individuals to join a dedicated and hardworking team of specialised support staff. They are looking for people who will enjoy being effective in supporting students, who have a positive attitude to encourage independence in their students.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to engage with children and enforce positive behaviour
• Have worked with children in a Primary school
• Be a qualified teaching assistant or have a transferable skill
