Primary School Teacher – Kirkby

CER Education are currently looking for an inspirational and highly effective Key Stage 1 teacher to work in a supportive and motivated forward thinking 2 form entry Primary School based in Kirkby, Knowsley.

Job Responsibilities

• Teaching all areas of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Maintaining discipline
• Convey a positive “can do” attitude
• Take responsibility of a class of primary-age pupils
• Celebrate pupil achievement and promote the values of the school
• Able to contribute and work as part of a team

Preferred Skills

• KS1 Teacher – ECT or Experienced
• Understand the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Full understanding of safe guarding and child protection procedures
• Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to complete and pay for a new DBS application
