Whether you are an experienced practitioner or an ECT with a strong sporting background, we want someone who can inspire students of all abilities to get active and enjoy the benefits of physical education.
Leading the Way: Delivering high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable), covering a broad range of individual and team sports.
Extracurricular Impact: Taking a lead role in after-school clubs, fixtures, and competitions, helping to build a strong sporting culture within the school and across the city.
Inclusion: Ensuring that all pupils, regardless of their athletic ability, feel confident and encouraged to participate and improve.
Theory & Practice: Teaching GCSE PE or BTEC Sport units, ensuring students achieve their best possible results in both practical and written assessments.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physical Education.
A deep knowledge of various sports and the ability to coach teams effectively.
Strong classroom (and field) management skills to ensure a safe and productive environment.
An infectious enthusiasm for physical health and the ability to act as a positive role model for students.
