Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Southport

Location: Southport, Sefton

Salary: £85 – £100 per day

CER Education is recruiting for a dedicated and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Southport. As part of a close-knit team, you will be working to support the educational and emotional needs of children from Reception to Year 6. Ideal candidates will have experience with SEND learners and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
• Working with small groups and 1:1 sessions
• Managing pupil behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
• Providing tailored support for children with learning difficulties and behavioural challenges

Requirements:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Previous experience in a classroom setting, preferably with SEND children
• A proactive approach to supporting learning and development
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting students’ learning and development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting diverse student needs.
