Position: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Crosby
Salary: £100 – £160 per day (dependent on experience) & paid to scale post AWR
About the Role:
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students in Years 3, helping them to achieve academic success while nurturing their social and emotional development. You will deliver engaging lessons that foster a love of learning and develop key skills in preparation for their transition to secondary education.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 national curriculum, focusing on subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.
Use a variety of teaching techniques to engage students and encourage active participation in their learning journey.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure all students reach their full potential.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to meet individual learning needs.
Develop a positive classroom environment where every child feels safe, supported, and motivated.
Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
Contribute to school events and extracurricular activities to enhance the students’ overall experience.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a focus on Key Stage 2.
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students, though Early Career Teachers are also welcome to apply.
Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment strategies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with an up-to-date DBS check.
