Higher Level Teaching Assistant

HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT NEEDED IN DONCASTER!

CER Education are the UK market leaders in Education Recruitment and we are looking to find enthusiastic and engaging Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.

CER are working closely with a primary school within Doncaster who are seeking a long-term HLTA to assist and cover lessons across multiple year groups. This would be based in a large two form primary school in the heart of Doncaster. The role is to start in January 2024 and will continue for the full academic year as a full-time position. This may also have the potential of becoming a permanent role.

The ideal HLTA will be responsible for providing classroom support, assisting both in and out of the classroom. You will also be expected to lead groups of children who require additional support. This will be for a mixture of age groups, with potential of covering Teacher sickness and PPA.

Requirements:

• Excellent classroom management skills and knowledge of the curriculum
• Recent experience working with children (Which can be referenced)
• Minimum of two suitable references covering the last two years
• A valid DBS (or be willing to obtain one)
