Higher Level Teaching Assistant

HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT NEEDED IN DONCASTER!

CER Education are the UK market leaders in Education Recruitment, and we are looking to find enthusiastic and engaging Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.

We are collaborating closely with a primary school based in Doncaster that are needing a long-term HLTA from February 2024. This would be based in an Early Years open unit, working closing with children who need additional support with their learning. You will be expected to step in and teach lessons from time to time.

The ideal HLTA will be responsible for providing classroom support, assisting both in and out of the classroom. You will also be expected to lead groups of children who require additional support. This will be for a mixture of age groups, with potential of covering Teacher sickness and PPA.

Requirements:

• Excellent classroom management skills and knowledge of the curriculum
• Recent experience working with children (Which can be referenced)
• Minimum of two suitable references covering the last two years
• A valid DBS (or be willing to obtain one)
