Geography Teacher

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Head of Humanities teacher – with French lead – to join a dynamic team at one of our partner Secondary Schools in Wakefield. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced educators who are looking to make a positive impact on young minds.

If you are a qualified Humanities teacher – and have experience in teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 – we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive Geography lessons to students of various ages and abilities
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students.
• Utilise a range of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Monitor and manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Have a passion for supporting children in the learning sector

Requirements:

• A degree in a Humanties related subject (PGCE or QTS preferred).
• Strong subject knowledge in the French curriculum.
• For ECTs: a willingness to learn and grow, with support and mentorship provided
