One of our partnership schools is a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, with a strong ethos of developing childrens curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. We are part of the Horizon Academy Trust, which provides us with excellent opportunities for collaboration and professional development.
We are looking for a full-time FS1 teacher to start as soon as possible, on a temporary basis initially, but with the potential to become permanent after a successful induction period of 17 weeks. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality play-based learning experiences that cover the seven areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. You will also work closely with the Nursery Manager and SENDCo to ensure the wellbeing and progress of all children.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
* A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
* A proven track record of teaching year 3 or similar age group
* A strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A positive and enthusiastic attitude
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
