English Teacher – Sunderland

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: Paid to Scale | Weekly Pay

CER Education is currently recruiting a passionate and committed English Teacher to work in a lovely secondary school in Sunderland, starting ASAP.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school with a positive learning environment. The role is expected to run until at least the summer holidays, with the potential to be extended beyond this.

The Role:

• Teaching English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Marking and assessing in line with school policies
• Supporting pupils to achieve their full potential
• Working collaboratively within a welcoming English department

Who Can Apply:

• Suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools (training placements considered for ECTs)
• Strong classroom management skills
