CER are currently recruiting for an Educational Support Workers for a number of SEND School in St Helen’s. The schools provide support to children with special educational needs including Autism, Social Emotional Mental Health, Severe Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs and PMLD.

You will be responsible for providing professional support and development for all pupils across all age ranges. You will also be required to provide one to one support to pupils. You must be able to build well established relationships with both staff and pupils to ensure learning outcomes are met for all students.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students by facilitating and encouraging a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • To contribute to raising standards of student’s attainment and behaviour.
  • Share and support the schools responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
  • Promote school policies on behaviour.
  • Support and implement strategies to manage behaviour.
  • Employ strategies for behaviour management and report any problems.
  • Report pupil’s progress.

The role is to start as soon as possible and will be on an on going basis with a view to become permanent for the right candidate.
