Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Geography to join a dynamic secondary school in Bedfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons that bring the subject to life.


As a Teacher of Geography, you will:

  • Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, ensuring lessons are creative and challenging.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and departmental resources.
  • Foster a positive learning environment and encourage student participation in fieldwork and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Geography in a secondary school.
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current educational practices.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students through engaging teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Ability to drive is preferred; if not, reliable access to public transport is essential.
