Cover Supervisor – Multi Academy Trust (Agency)

Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Salary: £83.33 – £120.00 per day DOE

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work across a large Multi Academy Trust within their secondary schools located in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. This exciting opportunity is offered through our agency working in partnership with our client and requires flexibility to work across various schools within the Trust, covering lessons for secondary-age pupils.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lesson plans in the absence of teaching staff, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a positive learning environment for students. There is no expectation for you to plan or mark any work, but you must be confident, adaptable and able to think on your feet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering lessons to secondary students in accordance with pre-planned work.
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students stay on task.
• Supporting students as they complete set work and providing guidance where necessary.
• Working across multiple schools within the Trust as needed.
• Communicating effectively with teaching staff and reporting any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with secondary-age children, ideally in a school setting.
• Flexibility and willingness to work in various locations.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential).
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to different school environments.
