Job Opportunity: Behaviour Support Worker

Location: Doncaster

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join our client’s supportive environment and play a crucial role in helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with behavioural challenges, helping them develop coping strategies and positive social skills.
  • Implement individual behaviour plans and interventions in collaboration with teachers and SENCO.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to address behavioural issues and promote positive behaviour choices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Behaviour Support Worker or in a similar role, preferably in a SEN school setting.
  • Understanding of different behavioural needs and strategies to support students effectively.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with students with diverse abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training in behaviour management and SEN support.
