Teaching Assistants – Behaviour Specialists required in Wirral

CER Education are recruiting an experienced Learning Support Assistant who has is passionate and driven about supporting the next generation.

The school, based in Wirral provides support to pupils aged 11 to 16 with SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health). It is essnetial that you have had previous expeirence supporting in a similar environment and that you are familiar with following EHCP’s (Education, Health and Care Plans).

The role is to start as soon as possible and the contract will initially be offered on a Temporary basis but does have a view to become permenant for the right applicant. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8:30am until 4:00pm and you must be able to commit to these hours in order to be considered for the role.

To become part of the CER Education team ideally you will have:

• Previous experience with pupils with additional needs such as ASC, SLD and Complex Needs
• Be comfortable working 1-on-1 with students.
• Work well under considerable pressure.
• Be both adaptable and flexible.
• Have excellent punctuality and organisation.
• Be positive and friendly.
• Possibly extra qualifications (e.g. Team Teach, PRICE etc.)
