1:1 Teaching Assistant – Huyton

Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant?

CER Education Liverpool are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work full time supporting a Year 5 class for a school based in Huyton, Knowsley. The role is an intervention support role, focusing on Numeracy and Literacy support working with small groups under the direction of the class teacher. You will be working as part of an experienced KS2 team.

The role is to start ASAP

Job Responsibilities;

• Helping children in Numeracy and Literacy interventions.
• KS2 curriculum knowledge is essential.
• Support teachers in managing class behaviour.
• Setting up and running interventions.
• Classroom resource and preparation.

Preferred Skills;

• Qualification within education.
• Previous experience in teaching assistant roles.
• Resilience and great work ethic.
• Work with small groups and 1:1.
• Assist students during lessons and ensure they are on task.
