CER Education are currently looking for a highly motivated and engaging General Teaching Assistant to support students across various classes at a one-form entry primary school in Bootle. The ideal candidate will have experience working in primary education and a passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
Full-time hours working 8:30-3:30 Monday to Friday.
Job Responsibilities:
– Providing classroom support across various subjects and age groups
– Assisting the class teacher with lesson planning and preparation
– Supporting individual students or small groups to enhance their learning experience
– Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
– Managing classroom behavior and encouraging positive social interactions
– Liaising with teachers and staff to provide tailored support for students
Qualifications and Experience:
– Prior experience working in a primary school setting is preferred
– A patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to working with children
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
