Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

CER are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnership schools in Rawmarsh, Rotherham on a full-time basis.

The Role
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide Individual Support: Work closely with a child who has behavioural issues, offering tailored support to help them succeed academically and socially.
- Implement Behavioural Strategies: Use your knowledge and skills to implement effective behavioural strategies and interventions.
- Collaborate with Staff: Work alongside teachers and other support staff to create a consistent and supportive learning environment.
- Encourage Positive Behaviour: Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes the child’s self-esteem and confidence.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience working with children with behavioural issues is essential.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable.
- Patience and Empathy: A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to supporting children with additional needs.
