The Role
We are looking for a driven and ambitious 360 Recruitment Consultant to join our Team in Darlington, specialising in Secondary Education Recruitment. Our Team in Darlington are well-established and award-winning, with a genuine collaborative team environment. This is a full-cycle recruitment role where you will manage both client relationships and candidate delivery, specialising in placing professionals within Secondary Schools.
- £30,000 – £37,000 (DOE)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
- Proactively identify, target, and win new business within the SEN education sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow your desk and achieve revenue targets
Client Management
- Act as a trusted partner to clients, offering market insight and recruitment expertise
- Manage job briefs, ensuring a clear understanding of role requirements and timelines
- Deliver a high-quality, consultative service to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships
Candidate Sourcing & Management
- Source, attract, and engage high-quality candidates using job boards, databases, networking, and social media
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and compliance checks
- Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment life-cycle
- Provide guidance on CVs, interviews, and career progression
Delivery & Process Management
- Match candidates to suitable roles and manage the end-to-end recruitment process
- Coordinate interviews, feedback, offers, and on-boarding
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems and ensure compliance with safeguarding standards
Market & Sector Knowledge
- Stay informed on SEN Education and Recruitment trends, funding changes, and skills demands
- Position yourself as a knowledgeable specialist within your market

- Proven ability to generate new business and exceed targets
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Passion for delivering an outstanding experience to both clients and candidates
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- A positive, “can-do” attitude with the ability to handle rejection and bounce back
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed
- Clear, professional, and confident verbal and written communication
- Ability to influence and build credibility quickly
A Full (and Valid) UK Driving License is required for this role.
