CER Education is currently looking to recruit primary teachers to work with schools in Ormskirk and the surrounding areas, starting from September 2026.
This role is ideal for dedicated teachers who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and creating positive classroom experiences. Whether you are an experienced teacher, an ECT, or looking for flexible supply work, CER can offer day-to-day, short-term and longer-term placements to suit your availability and career plans. We offer a competive daily pay rate of between £140 – £260, dependant on experience.
Role responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment where pupils feel supported and motivated.
- Assessing pupil progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching where required to meet different learning needs.
- Supporting pupils with additional needs where required, helping them to build confidence, independence and participation.
- Contribute to the wider life of school, including meetings, planning and school events where required.
Job requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
- Previous experience teaching in schools, ideally within primary.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enhanced DBS on the Live Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
- Right to work in the UK and professional references.
