Work across a variety of friendly primary schools in Chesterfield and the surrounding areas, where every day offers something different. As a supply Teaching Assistant with CER, you’ll have the flexibility to fit work around your schedule while making a real difference to pupils’ learning and development.

From daily cover to short and long-term roles, we’ll match you with schools that suit your preferences and travel requirements.

📚 What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support pupil progress
• Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment
• Assist with classroom organisation and behaviour management
• Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence, and social development

• Previous experience working with children (school-based experience is desirable)
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Confidence supporting pupils with a range of needs
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed
