Salary: £180 – £250 per day / Pay to Scale (annum)

CER is excited to be recruiting a dynamic Humanities Teacher (QTS) for a vibrant and ambitious secondary school in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Bucks. What You’ll Do

• Deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive Humanities lessons across KS3 (and KS4 depending on experience).
• Inspire students to explore the world, understand human behaviour, and think critically about society.
• Design and deliver well‑planned lessons aligned to the curriculum with the freedom to bring your own style and passion.
• Assess and monitor progress to help every student achieve their potential.
• Build a classroom environment where students feel valued, empowered, and excited to learn.
• Play an active role in wider school life from enrichment clubs to field trips and cross‑curricular projects.

What We’re Looking For

• QTS and experience teaching Humanities subjects (History, Geography, RS) at KS3/KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for your specialist area.
• A confident classroom practitioner with excellent communication and behaviour‑management skills.
• Someone reflective, committed, and eager to grow professionally.
• A teacher who can inspire curiosity, challenge thinking, and support students of all abilities.
