Maths Teacher – South Tyneside

Start Date: September 2026 | Full Academic Year

Full-Time | Paid to Scale (£168.80 – £261.78)

CER Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to work within one of our partner schools in South Tyneside. This is a full-time role starting in September 2026 and continuing for the full academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and well-established school, delivering engaging Maths lessons and helping students build confidence and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Support pupils of all abilities to succeed and progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning
• Be dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
