Food Technology Teacher

CER are looking to appoint a part time (0.8) Food Technology teacher to begin as soon as possible and continue for the remainder of the academic year. There is a possibility this role could continue into the 2026 academic year.

The school is based in Crosby has an outstanding reputation within the community with a strong and stable Senior Leadership Team.

The school are interested in ECT’s, teachers in the early stages of their career as well as highly experienced teachers. You would be required to teach KS3 and KS4 and take responsibility for the planning and assessment of your classes, this role will also involve practical as well as theory based lessons. You would be teaching as part of a much larger Technology department so you will have the continued support from an experienced faculty as well as the senior leadership team.

Depending on experience you could get rates of pay between £160 and £240 per day.

The ideal teacher will:

• Hold UK QTS or equivalent
• Experience of teaching Food Technology up to KS3/4
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• Be able to quickly build effective and positive relationships
