Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant – (Nursery / Reception)

Location: Huyton, Knowsley

Start Date: April 2026 – July 2026

Pay – £460 – £ 650 ( weekly ) ( inclusive of holiday pay and dependant on experience )

CER Education is supporting a 3 form entry Primary school in Knowsley in recruiting a FULL TIME Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in Nursery/ Foundation Stage.

This role will start in April 2026 and will run until to July 2026, with a potential of extending to next academic year.

You will be supporting across the Foundation Stage and on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with SEND needs. There is personal care involved and you must be qualified to Level 3 in Early Years.

What you’ll need

• Teaching Assistant / Early Years qualification with classroom based experience in EYFS
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Personal care qualified and experienced
• To support the class teacher and work on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEND needs
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
