Contract: Full Time – Until at Least Christmas 2026

Pay: £168.80 – £261.78 Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)

£300 Sign-On Bonus Available + £250 Referral Bonus

Geography Teacher – Long-Term Opportunity in Sunderland

In partnership with CER Education Recruitment, we are recruiting a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher for a full-time, long-term role in a supportive secondary school in Sunderland.

This position starts after the Easter break and runs until at least Christmas 2026, offering stability, competitive pay, and excellent support.

The Role:

• Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons
• Monitor and support student progress
• Contribute to a positive Humanities department

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Geography in UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
