CER Education is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across primary and secondary schools in Gateshead, supporting a range of our partner local schools and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs).

We offer flexible work opportunities, from ad hoc supply days to long-term and full-time roles, allowing you to find a role that fits around you.

The Role

• Supporting pupils in primary and secondary school settings
• Working 1:1 or with small groups in the classroom
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Opportunities ranging from day-to-day supply to long-term placements
• Flexible work to support a better work-life balance

Pay: Competitive daily rates (dependent on role and experience)

Who We’re Looking For

• Teaching Assistant qualification Level 2 or above (preferred)
• Applicants with relevant experience working with children will also be considered
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable
• Caring, patient, and adaptable approach
• Confident working as part of a school team
