English Supply Teacher – Secondary School

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Supply Teacher to work in a welcoming secondary school in Rotherham. This role is ideal for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging English lessons and maintain high standards of learning and behaviour across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned English lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
• Support pupils’ academic progress and engagement
• Provide feedback to department staff as required

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Be adaptable, reliable, and confident stepping into different classroom settings
• Have a genuine passion for English and education
