AWS along with its sister company, CER, have taken full responsibility for managing the recruitment of temporary teaching and non-teaching staff across the Multi-Academy Trust’s 12 academies in Sheffield, Chesterfield, Mansfield and Rotherham.
From sourcing candidates, managing a supply chain of recruitment agencies and engaging with the temporary workforce, AWS and CER recruits and fills temporary vacancy requests for the Multi-Academy Trusts. Roles include Qualified Teachers, Early Career Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and Sports Coaches to support roles such as administrators, Caretakers and Cleaners.
This is the 12th managed service AWS has mobilised under Lot Two of the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) framework which provides schools with an open, fair and transparent route when hiring temporary staff.
