Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Teaching assistant looking for a new challenge in a Liverpool Primary School ?

CER Education are currently recruiting for a FULL TIME TEACHING ASSISTANT role to start in September 2024. This role will be in the Early Years setting and will be for the full school year.

The role is working at a Primary School in Anfield, Liverpool supporting in Reception and will be FULL TIME – you will be working on a 1:1 and whole class basis.

Job Responsibilities;

• Support class teachers in managing class behaviour and lesson delivery
• Setting up and running EYFS related activities
• To understand the classroom roles and responsibilities and promote school ethos
• Prepare the classroom ready for lessons
• Ensure safeguarding regulations are consistently adhered to

Preferred Skills;

• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification – ideally Level 3 and have classroom based experience
• Resilience and a great work ethic
• Feel comfortable receiving direction from the classroom teacher
• Working with small groups and 1:1 – SEND experience
• Assist students during class and ensure they are on task
