CER Education are supporting a South Liverpool Primary School in recruiting an experienced Year 2 Class Teacher to start in September 24 to cover a 12 month maternity post. This role is full time for a full academic year.

Set in the heart of the community, the 2 form entry school offers a broad and enriching curriculum. All pupils are encouraged to aim high in a positive environment and the SLT at the school are supportive and provide effective leadership.

The successful candidate requires the following qualities:

• Confident in Early Years – Reception/ KS1 National Curriculum standards
• Proactive in establishing routines, lessons and disciplinary strategies
• Resilient and can do attitude
• Independence and trust in their own ability
• Be focused on being a team player
• Self- motivated and able to adapt to the evolving education system

To apply the candidate must have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1
• Referees from previous employer including previous school based reference
• An up to date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
