SIMs / Data School Support Administrator / Attendance Officer

CER is working in partnership with a primary school in Bradford to recruit a full time SIMs / School Attendance Officer / Adminstrator

The role is with an immediate start in the first instance.

Main responsibilities:

To be able to add and delete pupils from our cohort, including the chasing of CTF file

Updating new information for a pupil, whether this is contact information, PP, SEN, FSM or their timetables

To create, delete and amend marksheets including, making sure each subject and years marksheet matches their assessment point overview, amend the boundaries that need to be set to convert mark to PI, update formulas to be able to average grades so that it can create a current grade etc

Transferring over of important data from last year’s marksheets to this academic years

Organising parents evening appointments, including the setting up of the staff to the right pupils/parents so that the booking system can work

Allow the relevant data to be transferred onto the pupils reports which can be checked, amended and sent out to parents/carers

The post is full time – we use SIMS and Classcharts.

Requirements for the role:

Must have school admin experience.

Must have SIMs experience.

A valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain.

Two suitable references covering the last two years.
