CER Education are working on behalf of a Specialist Provision School in Leeds that are looking for nurturing and caring Teaching Assistants that have an understanding of supporting pupils that have a range of complex learning and medical needs.

To work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in the classroom with the teacher.

• To support pupils with complex SEND, which include physical, communication, sensory, SEMH and cognition and learning needs.
• Provide general support to staff and pupils, including preparation and routine maintenance of resources/equipment.
• To develop knowledge, skills and understanding of requirements for effective support in a SEN setting.
• Applicants that have a background in care, nursing or nusery practitioners will be welcomed.
• Must hold a right to work in the UK.
• Must hold an up to date DBS that is registered on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
