SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant

SEN HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT NEEDED IN DONCASTER!

CER Education are the UK market leaders in Education Recruitment, and we are looking to find enthusiastic and engaging Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.

We are collaborating closely with a primary school based in Doncaster that are needing a long-term HLTA from January 2024. This would be working closely with SEN students, potentially in a separate unit. This role would be full-time 5 days per week. SEN experience is advantageous, but not essential. Must be willing to work closely with students who have ADHD, Autism, and other special educational needs.

The ideal HLTA will be responsible for providing classroom support, assisting both in and out of the classroom. You will also be expected to lead groups of children who require additional support. This will be for a mixture of age groups, with potential of covering Teacher sickness and PPA.

Requirements:

• Excellent classroom management skills and knowledge of the curriculum
• Recent experience working with children (Which can be referenced)
• Minimum of two suitable references covering the last two years
• A valid DBS (or be willing to obtain one)
