CER are recruiting on behalf of one of our wonderful Secondary Schools based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire who are seeking to appoint a Science Teacher to join their established team within the Science Department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven professional. An excellent knowledge and understanding of the subject is essential as is a passion for Science. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of students and share in our client schools goals. This role is long-term and full-time, covering a planned staff absence. Working as a Science Teacher, you will be covering a full timetable of Science across KS3 and KS4 that will include Biology & Chemistry. You will need to be prepared to undertake some marking responsibilities but the majority of the planning is already in place.

What do we need from you?

• You MUST hold a UK Recognised Teaching qualification, ideally with QTS
• You have experience of teaching Science or a related subject to secondary age students
• You’re passionate and committed and keen to further progress in your career
• You are confident at managing behaviour in the classroom and are able to be adaptable
