Location: Rotherham
Contract Type: Temporary Fixed-Term (via agency)
Working Hours: 2 days a week (initially from 17th Feb 2025), full-time after Easter until the end of summer term

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate RE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Rotherham. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on students’ learning and development in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Details:

• Start Date: 17th February 2025
• Initial Schedule: Part-time (2 days per week)
• Full-Time Transition: From Easter until the end of the summer term

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Inspire and engage students to develop a deeper understanding of religion, culture, and philosophy.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and respectful dialogue.
• Assess, record, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the broader life of the school.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting religious literacy.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and inspire students to achieve their potential.
• Flexibility to transition from part-time to full-time working hours.
