• Pay: £83.34 – £98.70 per day

CER is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream primary school in Newcastle. The role will be to start ASAP, full time till at least July 2024 – possibly longer

A successful candidate will have worked as a teaching assistant in a school before, or have relevant experience working with childlen within the last 2 years. Ideally the candidate would have Early Years Experience.

The school are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and resourceful individuals to join a dedicated and hardworking team of specialised support staff. They are looking for people who will enjoy being effective in supporting students with complex needs and who have an appreciation of the positive attitude required to encourage independence in their students.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to engage with children and enforce positive behaviour
• Have worked with children or adults with special needs before
• Be able to challenge children when they display negative behaviour
• Be a qualified level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant
