About Us:
We are seeking an MFL teacher specialising in French and Spanish to work at a highly rated school in Sheffield from September. We have received plenty of great feedback from previous staff placed at the school. The school requires a passionate and experienced individual to fill this position, presenting a thrilling chance for exceptional individuals to enhance their expertise and advance their career opportunities.

The school is looking for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional, engaging Spanish and French lessons and creating a positive learning experience.

The successful candidates will be a consistently enthusiastic classroom practitioner with a real passion for modern foreign languages, who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and an excellent team player.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Subject knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes active learning.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s development.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student achievement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Recognised teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Solid understanding of the national curriculum and its application in the classroom.
  • Strong passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and adapt to various teaching scenarios.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
