Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: S5, Sheffield
Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Role Overview: CER are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily work on a 1:1 basis with students, but will also be involved in whole class and small group work. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Assist with whole class activities, supporting the teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Work with small groups of students to reinforce learning and provide targeted support.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to working with children.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
